Citric acid is naturally found in citrus fruits. But it is usually produced in powder form.


Citric acid is a white crystalline powder at room temperature. It is either in an anhydrous (water-free) form or as a monohydrate.

Citric acid, a weak organic acid,  has many uses in cleaning formulations.  Citric acids are used in adjusting pH, cleaners, acidulent, chelating agent, scale remover, water softener, and water stain remover
