Clear Silicone Ringing Gel

What is Ringing Gel?

Ringing Gel is a highly concentrated styling and finishing product great for polished, sleek and wet looks. Infused with natural mineral oils and botanical extracts, Ringing Gel defines the curl and eliminates the flyaway and frizz from your hair. Light and clean, it does not deposit build-up or weigh the hair down.

Ringing gels are microemulsions.  Combining the the right amount of material , a viscoelastic gel can be formed - "ringing gel."  When you shake this microemulsion gel, it resonates and a ringing sensation can be felt.

This formulation demonstrates the powerful emulsifying properties of the phosphate ester, Crodafos N-3E and Volpo oleyl alcohol ethoxylates. Unlike most silicone emulsions, this formulation provides the formulator with the means of producing a "ringing" gel.
