Methyl ester as replacement for flammable solvents in cleaning formulations.

     This environmentally friendly, vegetable based methyl ester can be used to replace flammable solvents such as terpenes and petroleum distillates in a variety of cleaning formulations. A microemulsion cleaner based on methyl soyate is suitable for use in applications such as parts, hard surface and hand cleaners. This formulation uses Incromide CA and Incromine Oxide LF provides effective detergency, emulsification and wetting of treated surfaces. This formulation has a pleasant odor profile. When diluted with water, this formulation forms a stable, milky emulsion.

Appearance: Clear, pale yellow liquid
pH (as is): 10.9
pH (5% v/v): 9.9
Weight per Gallon: 7.9 lbs.
Cloud point (as is): Clear to 50oC

Procedure
Add items in the order listed while mixing. Continue agitation until clear and uniform.
