Methyl paraben (Protameen)

Propyl paraben (Protameen)

Phase B

Propylene glycol

Triclosan (Protameen)

Phase C

Protacide DMDMH (Protameen)

Fragrance

Sodium hydroxide (25% sol.)

FD&C Yellow #6 (1.0% sol.)

D&C Red #33 (1.0% sol.)

Procedure

1. Combine Phase A with propeller mixing.
2. Heat to 70-75°C. Mix until clear.
3. Pre-mix Phase B and add to Phase A.
4. Mix at 70-75°C until clear.
5. Cool the batch to 35-40°C and add Phase C items, mixing between additions until clear.
6. Adjust pH to 6.5-6.8 with sodium hydroxide.
7. Add color and continue cooling until 25°C.
